Mixed Knockout Ellie Treadwell was making the most of the school half term this week, early on Monday morning we were working on downhill putting and in particular, how not to leave your partner a tricky short putt when playing foursomes or greenrooms!! Seems like it was just in time as she partnered her Dad, Steve, in the afternoon and won the final of the mixed knockout against Mary and David Robertson. Greensomes The gents were also playing Greensomes at the weekend in the Centenary Salver which was won by Keith Howe and Pete Lowndes with 41 points. They’ll enjoy rubbing that in as they usually sit underneath the winner’s gold letter board on Tuesday Social nights! Hole in one club On Monday, Oliver Lewy scored a hole in one using a pitching wedge on the 3rd hole with the ball taking one bounce and disappearing into the cup - stylish!
