Its true, lots of golfers try to play a game where they aim straight, setup straight, swing straight and hit the ball straight - I'm not sure what that game is called, but it's definitely not called golf? Of course lots of the aforementioned golfers are trying to reduce their ball curve as they warm up and there's nothing wrong with attempting a straight shot, but consider playing with some curve if that's your thing. It's why a lot of chop slicers rarely take a golf lesson with anyone - they are going to slice every club, every time they hit it, every time they play, so they are highly repeatable and are used to allowing for their slice shape. The golfer who struggles more often is the one with a 2-way miss - a push and a hook or a pull and a slice, they never know which side of the fairway they'll be playing from next and for them aim is less important than getting their technique more repeatable. Which one are you?
