56 golfers thoroughly enjoyed the day -some lost their shoes, some lost their clubs, some left their jackets and others lost their golf games. Craig Nesbitt lost nothing however as he won the 36 hole event narrowly from Andy Glassey whose consolation was winning the morning event and the afternoon being won by Pete Hughes. Thanks to everyone who paid up for their 2s after the event and in the process made a contribution to the Captain’s Charity.
A couple of events on the horizon… The first is the 125 year anniversary Pro-Am on Friday 16th August and if you’d like to act as a stand-in to play or a volunteer for ball spotting, please click here and I’ll get in touch with you. We have a record entry, a record prize fund and a fantastic list of talent in the professional entries. Another event is my Pro’s Day which takes place for the ladies on 11th September and for men on 14th September. These will both be Texas Scramble events, the ladies in 3-balls and the men in 4-balls.
