Why not leave your clubs with me and I'll MOT them free of charge for you? An MOT involves the following: > Recording the loft angles - if these are off, so your yardages will be. > Record your lie angles - a club that has bent overly upright or flat will skew the ball offline. > Deep clean in our UltraSonic cleaner - it even brings the grips back to life. > Check the swingweights are matching - sometimes weights fall off the club without you knowing or different grips can make a head feel really heavy or light. You'll get a report of our findings and if anything you needs fixing, you can choose to play on with them or they can usually be fixed for very little cost.
Busy times ahead
Of course, I know many of you are waiting for the chance to get back and try out some of the new kit of which there is plenty and as with the last couple of years, it's amazing. I've been building clubs for 30 years and took club-fitting to another level, by working with components (ie the head, the shaft and the grip from separate companies) since 2006 after I went on a golf trip to Japan. It turns out to be have been a good time to develop fitting that way as nowadays the manufacturers offer infinitely better equipment than they did a decade ago, and as they have higher price tag too, golfers understandably want to make sure they get the best bang for their buck. Callaway, TaylorMade, Cobra, Mizuno and PING all have new woods out once lockdown finishes, with all but Mizuno having a new iron model as well. Odyssey have some new putters, Titleist have a new ProV1, Srixon have new irons, Cleveland have new wedges, OBAN and ACCRA have new funky shafts and we'll also have the new Skechers shoes in stock. If you want to pre-book a fitting, let me know what days and times suit you, or if you would like to reserve or pre-order a club, just get in touch. It's likely to be hectic when we return. We'll be busy gettng everything ready for you and displaying the shop as user-friendly as we can, until then don't hesitate to call or give us a wave - we can't be open for shopping but we're here for deliveries and collections. |
